Garment Factory FAQ: 4 Most Asked Questions by Buyers, Straight Answers

For garment procurement, the top concerns are always “MOQ, development methods, sampling lead time, and quality assurance” — here’s our honest breakdown of how we operate:

Question 1: What is your Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ)?

Our MOQ rule: 100 pieces per style per color.
This volume balances production efficiency and helps small-to-medium brands control initial trial sales costs. Most designer brands we work with start with this MOQ for trial orders~

Question 2: Can you produce our own designs? What development methods do you offer?

We support two product development methods, tailored to your needs:

  1. Use our existing styles: We have over 1,000 mature patterns (covering men’s/women’s wear), and you can directly select styles or customize fabrics/colors;
  2. Customer-designed products: Provide design drawings (with size charts and technical requirements included), or send sample garments with detailed instructions — we can replicate the patterns 1:1.

Question 3: How long does sampling take? When can I receive the samples?

Sampling lead time is divided into two cases:

  • For in-stock fabrics: Sampling completed in 1 week;
  • For custom fabrics: Sampling completed in 2 weeks (including fabric procurement time);After samples are shipped, the courier delivery cycle is about 1 week.

Question 4: How do you control defective rates? Can quality be guaranteed?

We ensure defective rate control through “double quality inspections”, covering the entire process from production to finished products:

  1. In-process inspection (semi-finished product check): When production is halfway done, quality inspectors check each piece for pattern accuracy, stitching, and fabric defects, with on-site rework for any issues to avoid subsequent waste;
  2. Final inspection (finished product check): After production is fully completed, we conduct a full inspection of dimensions, loose threads, hardware durability, and ironing effects — only finished products that pass the final inspection are packaged and stored.Currently, our finished product defective rate is stably controlled below 1%. If customers find non-human-induced defects upon receipt, we offer free rework or replacement~
